Irene: Yvonne, what inspired you to write “More Than Meets the Eye: True Stores About Death, Dying and After Life”?

Death and Dying

Yvonne: I’ve always wanted to know more about the other side, but when my uncle had life support for about a year, I kept feeling that I was being visited by his spirit.

Shortly after his death, (before my mother called to share the news) I heard my uncle’s voice in my head and knew he had passed. He told me what songs he wanted me to play and sing at his funeral. I had never been asked to dance, but when my mother called and told me that my uncle had passed, she also asked me to sing and dance at the funeral.

Yes the songs my aunt picked up were the songs my uncle had requested during their amazing visit. I felt my uncle’s presence at the party so much that I could only smile while everyone else cried. For me, he “didn’t” go anywhere. He was almost always there.

Dying as Part of Afterlife

Irene: Did you have a close relationship with your grandfather while he was still alive?

He lived for about 20 hours so I only saw him once a year. In some ways our souls were more connected than our lives were in harmony.

Irene: Your book is on a topic that many people are afraid to talk about. How can you encourage people to look at this issue and read your book?

Yvonne: I think a lot of people are afraid of things they don’t understand, and they try to avoid the issue or find a way to distort their experience.

Many of these are inconsistent with human experience.

Spiritual experiences

When the snow breaks, they find the talk comforting and liberating, they want to read my book.

Irene: What do you mean by spiritual experience?

Yvonne: communicating with the spirits of the dead, having supernatural beings (angels, channels) who join me, remembering parts of my past life, elevating to someone the field of power meaning: knowing what is happening to them physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Irene: In your book you talk about the experiences of other people. Many have a similar experience. Please tell, whats the story of them big puppys …..

Yvonne: First, I have to see if you are talking about near-death or physical events or talking to the spirit and the deceased.
